Stomatology

Our 11 years on the market, dental services, advanced technology and professional staff allow us to provide a 5 year guarantee on all services performed:

Professional tooth whitening and cleaning

Our professional tooth cleaning guarantees the health of your teeth. We recomend that our patients recieve a professional tooth cleaning twice per year. Our doctor-hygenists remove dental calculus with an ultrasonic scaler, remove soft plaque and plaque from food coloring with a vaporific abrasive mixture (sodium bicarbonate with lemon extract), polish teeth with an abrasive paste, and clean the intradental gaps with floss, pastes and brushes. Fluoridation is included (application of fluoride increases the strength of teeth). It is applied with coatings and gels. Our hygienists can whiten teeth (we strongly recomend whitening be done in a clinic, and caution against home whitening), give advice on oral care, and help you to choose the right toothbrush and toothpaste.

Childrens’ Dentistry

Childrens’ dentistry is one of the most popular services of our clinic. Diagnosing and treating of any dental problems that our little patients may have is always done with an integrated approach. We can offer the services of:
  • Children’s dentists
  • Orthodontists
  • Pariodontologists.
This approach allows us to ward off any dental problems the child may have in the future. Our specialists recomend that children make their first visit between two and two and a half years old. The doctor will instruct both parents and children in proper dental hygiene. He will also provide a prophylactic dose of fluoride as part of good oral hygiene. If necessary, the child will be given specialized medical attention. If the parents have any questions, we are prepared to answer them. We accept children as young as 8 months. We treat both baby teeth and permanent teeth in children with the new technologies, using only latest generation materials. The clinic is open from 9:00 to 21:00, every day, allowing you to choose the most convenient time for your visit.

Treatment of cavities and their complications

The most frequent problem a dentist office comes across is, of course, cavities and their complications: endodontitis and periodontitis. Endodontitis is an inflammation of of the dental pulp (neurovascular bundles under the teeth). Our doctors, using the most modern method of two-step anesthesia, remove the pulp from the canal, and after some drilling and medical treatment, fill the canal and cavity of the tooth. To restore the crown of the teeth, we only use a light hardening material of the latest generation, made by the manufacturers 3M, Ivoclar-Vivadent, and Bisco. Periodontitis is a complication from cavities, accompanied by the decay of the neurovascular bundle, infection and lesion of the ligament which holds teeth in the jaw. Periodontitis requires urgent treatment, because the tooth starts to be become loose and react to the slightest touch. If periodontitis treatment is delayed (for example, if the process goes on without pain), the slow inflammatory process will result in the destruction of bone around the root and form a granuloma or cyst. All in all, you will have to undergo a more serious treatment of the consequenses of periodontitis. Canal work is done under the control of a Trophy (France) brand radiovisiograph. The canals are filled with doublejointed pins or thermofill. In the case of pronounced crown deformation as a result of complications from cavities, fiberglass intracanal pins are used. Our patients frequently come to us with complaints of cosmetic tooth defects. We can resolve these issues with therapeutic methods, or with filling material, developed specially for aesthetic tooth restoration. Our filling is so similar to actual teeth, that you can frequently only tell they are there by X-ray.

All types of surgical dentistry

Our clinic provides a wide spectrum of prophylactic and treatment procedures, but without surgery, unfortunately, many of them are impossible. If you need surgery, you will receive to not only professional surgical care, but also professional anesthesia, allowing you to feel comfortable in the dentist’s chair. Our surgeons see their mission as much more than just pulling teeth, which is unfortunately a part of the job, but instead as performing operations to save teeth, such as resection of the root apex, hemisection (removal of one root in a multi-rooted tooth), curettage (removal of deposits in the peridontal pockets) in the treatment of periodontitis, the qualified removal of wisdom teeth, as well as their buds. The methods for treatment and preservation of teeth used in our clinic, in combination with the experience and professionalism of our surgeons ensures that our patients run the minimum possible risk of post-operation complications.

Implantology and prosthetics

In modern dentistry, implants are becoming more and more popular. A dental implant is a titanium rod which is inserted into the bone of the jaw and provides the foundation for the crown. Dental implants also give a wider range of prosthetic options, as they not only replace lost teeth, but can also serve as the base for future prostheses, thus avoiding having to damage healthy teeth. Modern technology allows implants to be placed immediately after tooth removal. This allows our patients to avoid even a temporary cosmetic defect. Very rarely, implants fail to integrate with the bone. In these situations, according to the patients wishes, and the clinics available services, the implant will be placed again free of charge, or the payments made will be refunded. Our clinic has been sucessfully operating for more than 10 years in this field because we use implants from only the best manufacturing firms, and employ only the most experienced and skilled surgeons.

Orthodontics for adults and children

The bracket system (braces) effectively and simply corrects any cosmetic deficits in the teeth related to uneven teeth, or an incorrect bite. Correction can be started at any age. Our orthodontists use various types of bracket systems. The bracket system consists of a set of inserts, glued to the teeth, connected with a metal arc. After the bracket system has been put in by our orthodontists, the arc begins applying pressure on the teeth to get back to its original, perfect shape. Periodically, generally once per month, the bracket system must be adjusted, and a new metal arc put in place by our orthodontists. Bracket-system treatment is a prolonged procedure, and demands the combined attention of both doctor and patient. However, when the bracket-system is removed, the patients can forget about the incovenience of tooth defects for good. The bracket system can be practically unnoticable on the teeth, and even gives the smile a certain charm. Bracket systems can be installed on the external or internal side of the teeth. In the case of internal installation, the question of aesthetics no longer plays a part. In the case of external installation, there are various methods for making it look more appealing. The least noticeable way is a sapphire bracket system with a white arc. Bracket systems can be decorated with multicolored ligatures, or be colored to match the teeth.

Prosthetic Dentistry

Prosthetic dentistry allows patients to quickly alter the color, form or quantity of teeth, returning beauty to their smiles. A very popular and in-demand method of altering the color and form of teeth is placing veneers on the frontal area of the tooth-jaw system. A veneer is a thin porcelain insert, which covers the front half of the teeth, giving them an ideal form and color. We apply removable prosthetics with locking fasteners, and full dentures. Our experienced dentists can answer any of your questions about the advantages of each option, and develop an individualized program for treatment, implantation, and application of dental prosthetics.

Therapeutic and surgical parodontology

Treating gum (parodontis) disorders is one of the most important problems facing modern dentistry. Our parodontolgists use technology which allows them to stop the process of pain in the parodontis, inflammation of the gums, and the destruction of bone. The goal of parodontitis treatment is the restoration of blood circulation to the gums and the supporting tooth ligament, and also improvement of jaw-bone structure. This reduces bleeding, swelling of the gums, and decreases tooth mobility. If conservative treatment methods have no effect, we recomend a tooth-preserving dental operation (surgical treatment of parodontitis), which reduces tooth mobility and draws out the gum line in the case of an exposed root.
